This custom-painted figure pays tribute to Barabas Dantioch, one of the most distinctive loyalist figures to emerge from the Iron Warriors Legion.

Known for his exceptional tactical ability and mastery of siegecraft, Dantioch was a formidable Warsmith whose story became defined by loyalty, resilience, and an unwavering sense of duty.

The figure features a heavily armored silhouette with dark metallic plating, aged gold trim, black and yellow hazard markings, and a large warhammer that reinforces its imposing battlefield presence.

The weathered finish emphasizes the brutal character of a veteran siege warrior, with layered metallic tones, controlled wear effects, deep shadows, and carefully highlighted armor details.

Dantioch's story is closely connected with the fortress of Schadenhold, the Pharos, and his alliance with figures such as Alexis Polux during the Horus Heresy. His later sacrifice at Sotha cemented his legacy as a warrior remembered for choosing duty over allegiance to his fallen brothers.

The Story of Barabas Dantioch

Barabas Dantioch began his career as a Warsmith of the Iron Warriors and was regarded as a highly capable commander and master of fortification.

After suffering severe physical effects during the conflict with the Hrud, Dantioch was left behind on Lesser Damantyne, where he became the commander of the formidable Schadenhold fortress.

When his former Legion returned under the banner of Horus, Dantioch refused to abandon his loyalty to the Emperor. He stood against his own former brothers and ultimately joined the loyalist cause.

His expertise in fortification and engineering later brought him into close cooperation with Roboute Guilliman, the Ultramarines, and Alexis Polux. His work surrounding the Pharos became one of the defining achievements of his later service.

During the Battle of Sotha, Dantioch sacrificed himself to prevent the invading Night Lords from taking the Pharos. His death marked the end of a remarkable life defined by endurance, tactical brilliance, and loyalty.
