Today, we are thrilled to pull back the curtain on our studio's latest custom project. We took this legendary leviathan of the void and subjected him to a museum-grade custom repaint, capturing every ounce of his cold, lethal majesty.
🎨 Phase 1: Reimagining the Master of the Void
To do justice to "The Red Wake," a standard paint job simply wouldn't suffice. Our master painters began by stripping down the core layers to build a tone that feels heavy, ancient, and battle-hardened.

The Deep Sea Armor: Instead of a flat charcoal, we engineered a multi-layered slate-grey armor base. It has a matte, cold finish that looks like heavy ceramite submerged in the freezing void for millennia.

The Royal Gold Tones: The massive pauldrons and trim were coated in a burnished, historical gold. We carefully managed the sheen—it's bright enough to signify his supreme rank, yet weathered enough to fit a warrior who fights in the dark corners of the galaxy.
Phase 2: Micro-Detailing & Lore-Accurate Accents
What separates a premium studio piece from a regular model is the attention to the micro-details. Tyberos is defined by his unique, terrifying modifications, and we made sure every single one popped.

The Maw of the Great White: The iconic shark-tooth collar encircling his terrifying helmet was individually hand-tipped with a bright, cold silver metallic finish, making his gaze look even more predatory from within the shadow.

The Split-Color Helmet: True to his specialized lore, his brutal helmet features a precise, crisp split-color design, balancing a sinister crimson alongside the stark slate grey.

The Skulls of the Judged: Hanging heavily from his waist are three hand-bleached trophy skulls, finished with subtle brown washes to capture the organic, bone-like texture against the metallic chains.
⚔️ Phase 3: The Hunger and the Slake
You cannot talk about Tyberos without talking about his infamous dual weapons: Hunger and Slake—the terrifying combination of lightning claws and chainfists.
We treated these monolithic weapons with an ultra-sharp metallic chrome finish on the outer blades, contrasting against the dark mechanical housing. Micro-weathering, oil grime streaks, and subtle metallic scratching were applied to the mechanical knuckles to show they have torn through countess layers of ceramite and alien flesh.

Spinning the model around reveals another masterpiece: the massive, sculpted Reavers cape.
Instead of a flat red cloth, we painted the cape with a deep, blood-crimson gradient, utilizing heavy shading in the recesses to highlight the intricate, chaotic geometric patterns carved across its surface. It gives the impression of cured, ancient hide—a hunting trophy worn proudly by the ultimate predator.
